One of the first questions potential clients want to know when they call our company is: How much does building a website cost?

Although this is a very difficult question to answer, I will try to do my best here to explain some general pricing guidelines.

Building a website is a lot like building a custom home. With so many options available, price ranges can vary drastically.

Take a base model custom home, for example, once you add on the upgraded soft-close drawers, different faucets in the bathrooms, hardwood floors throughout instead of builder-grade carpet in the bedrooms, those customizations can add up, but they also make that home a perfect fit for you and your needs.

Considering that the average American moves 11.5 * times in their lifetime why do so many people elect to get so many upgrades? The answer is because most people understand the importance of getting what they want the first time so as to not have any regrets down the road. Because you spend your life inside those walls you want to envision family gatherings, celebrations, and everyday life… then you build accordingly.

These same principles typically apply to creating a great website.

Your website is your client's first impression, it’s the first date, will you make it to a second date? Will it help you give value to your dream clients and customers before they have their first touchpoint with you or their team?

Choosing the right designer is so much more than making things look good,
you want someone who encompasses great design and clear marketing strategies letting you do what you do best.

Unfortunately, some people only focus on the initial price of the site with the goal of finding the cheapest designer, therefore sacrificing low maintenance, quality, ease of use, and aesthetics, which inevitably leads to regret—especially considering that you can’t return a bad website if you’re dissatisfied and disenchanted.

How much does a website cost?

The average price for a 4-page website (landing, contact, faq, shop, or blog) with basic SEO, copy direction, and mobile optimization starts at $2300 and can range above $10,000 depending on your needs.

When someone inquires about the cost of a website, we have a few packages we offer depending on how hands-on our clients want to be. This will also vary if you need content created or if you supply the copy and we implement it along with on-brand images.


  1. Full Brand Package, if you're just getting started or overhauling your current logo/brand guidelines this is where we start. This sets you up for future success with clear guidelines to keep everything you do cohesive and "on brand". This package is $1800 to include 3 revisions with a turnaround time of 2-3 weeks once the project has been scheduled.

  2. One-time basic site with branding you built with us previously, or supply, with no additional need for content or marketing collateral the average person spends between $2300-$3000 depending on the platform & hosting service. Turnaround time is typically 4-6 weeks from the time the project has been scheduled.

  3. Basic site + Branding package, this being our most popular option includes 2 calls to hone in on your ideal client, their needs, and how we can tell your story to include them. Turnaround time is typically 8-12 weeks once the project has been scheduled.

  4. A la carté, ongoing work. Anything that is outside of the typical branding or website scope goes here. This is also known in the industry as retainer packages. You get a designer you love at a discounted hourly rate for ongoing needs.
